A fun run or walk which involves participants completing loops of the park and being covered in all the colours of the rainbow!

Information for Participants

Sunday 17th August 2025, Victoria Park, Bideford, 11:45 start.
A fun run - or walk - participants will start by the Bideford Music Day Stage, taking part in a warm up, before heading off, running or walking loops of the park. As they make their way around the park, participants will be covered in all the colours of the rainbow!

This year we are throwing a few optional obstacles into the mix! We can't wait for you to try them!

Please note - sunglasses must be worn for this event - these can be purchased for £3 on the day, or wear your own.

We recommend wearing a white t-shirt to get the full effect of the colour.

Registration point will be to the side of the stage. Please use the entrance into the Music Day event.

First 150 entries will receive a medal on completing the run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q) Are there set distances to walk / run for this event?

A) There will be 2k and 5k ,markers on the route for those wishing to run these distances.

Q) Is there an age limit?

A) This event is open to those over 5 years old. Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Q) Is the paint safe?

A) Yes! It is made of nothing more than corn starch and natural food dyes and hold EN71 certification. It will simply wash out of hair and from skin. We advise wearing sunglasses or eye protection to help prevent the powder from getting into your eyes. Rinse well with water if this does happen.

Q) Will the paint stain hair / clothing?

A) We recommend bringing a blanket to cover your car seat / change of clothing for after the run. It may take a few washes to get colour out of hair / clothing. Wear old clothes and consider a hat if you have light hair.

Q) Do entrants receive a medal?

A) The first 150 entries will receive a medal when they finish the run.
